Search in the "Catalog", find the set you want, and then look at the link for the "Price Guide". That'll tell you all the sales in the last 6 months (new/used), and all the currently available sets. Example, set 6060 (Knight's Challenge): http://www.bricklink.com/catalogPG.asp?S=6060-1 DaveE

What is the explanation for Knight's Challenge, then? #1584 was released in Europe in 1988 and #6060 was released in the US in 1989.

According to Bricklink, these torsos are the same, but they aren't. The one on the left is from #6060 Knights Challenge (1989) and the one one the left is from #10002 Club Car (2001) The lower picture shows the differences between the 2 torsos other than the obvious printing on the front. 1989 Top 2001 Bottom

Well that's blatantly untrue. #383/#6083 had a obvious female. #6023, #6067 and #6060 also had female character. Those might be a little less obvious, but they are clearly female. If you meant the head/torso combos were the first female specific head/torso combos in the Castle, than yes that is true.

I would say the sets I lusted after the most as kid were Castle and Pirate. The first four Pirate sets released in the US, 6270,6274, 6276 and 6285 I spend hours looking at in catalogs. I also have to add 6274 to the list. Castle wise I think 6085, 6060, 6077 and 6074 were the one I most wanted. I would get all but 6074 as…

A few pieces from Bricklink arrived over the weekend and after a lot of cleaning and sorting I was able to complete some sets from an eBay Castle lot... #6021 Jousting Knights- and #6060 Knight’s Challenge I find it immensely satisfying to rescue old sets and rehabilitate them to their former glory. Looking at what remains…
