Hi all, I've (reluctantly) decided to sell off some of my childhood Lego as I'm running out of space. All parts are in good/reasonable condition except stated but some parts have faded or yellowed. Given this, I'll let you suggest offers or deals for any of the sets and parts below. No sets have instructions or boxes…

As a big fan of classic Pirate and Castle there are a number of sets from that era I wish existed. Pirate wise, I always thought a pirate lighthouse would be cool. For some reason I've always thought it would look cool to have the pirates have a lighthouse as a base. Another one that they had elements of, but never really…

Same as @shib, stocking of smaller presents at the end of the bed from father christmas and then main presents around the tree after breakfast. I still remember waking up at 3am and having #6061, #6040 and #6030 opened and built before anyone else was up. Downstairs I had #6074 and #6067 waiting for me.

I dunno, I think #6286 Skull Eye Schooner is better. :) I love the new sets, but lets face it, many play sets today are just that, there are no alternative models that were designed for those sets much anymore. The 80s sets were 'basic' but it was for their time, and also forced builders to become creative with the sets…

As a kid I really really really wanted to have #6080 (King's Castle released in 1984), but alas I never got it, as well as the 'Yellow Castle' even though that had already retired, probably several years earlier. I did however get #6073 (Knight's Castle, also released in 1984), the Black Falcon fortress, although in the…

I have resigned myself to remove themes not City/town from my collection, but in that time I also started slowly gathering 80's Castle sets from my youth and holding on to them, so I have a bin with the original #6074 Black Falcon's Fortress, #6080 Kings Castle #6085 Black Monarchs Castle, #6067 Guarded inn, #6061 Siege…

Hey there folks. I'm a new new to this group, and figured this would be a good place to try to sell my collection. I've estimated it at around 17,500+ pieces; 140+ minifigs; 100+ pounds. There are two parts to it... My original collection from when I was a kid (I'm 39), which has been kept in a classic denim Lego storage…

I know this may be reaching out on a limb, but what about releasing old castles in a modular theme. For example, releasing parts/walls of a castle (think LOTR 9471, as well as Classic Castle 6040, 6041, and6061) that create a full scale castle. TLG could charge a premium by including a number of mini-figs, weapons,…
