hi all, I'm working on a tan version of the 4554 train station and need 4 of the tan inverted slope 33 3x1 to finish it off. If there are any floating around out there, I'd be interested in buying. Cheers

It took a few years to get to this moment and it al happened when I bought and build a new trainset for my nephew. While building that set I just wanted tot build again, with my own Lego. Hello I' m Jürgen, 30y, from Maaseik, Belgium. My first Lego experience started when I was 6 years old. One of the first sets I've got…

No it wasn't. (In my opinion.) #4554 is still the king of train stations released by Lego. Given how much set design has advanced in the last 23 years this is a testament to two things: - How unbelievably outstanding #4554 was back then. - How mediocre the later stations have been. I think they ranged from poor ( #4556 and…

Finished the train station based on 4554 (big thanks to Huw for getting me out of a tight spot). Fairly pleased with the final result and I even included the original minifigs to populate it.

Reading through this reminded me of http://brickset.com/sets/2150-1/Train-Station and http://brickset.com/sets/4554-1 . The sets aren't identical, but definitely very similar, just in a different color...1991 vs 1996

You are in luck because I built the set that has two of these sign parts just last night! It comes in the legendary Metro Station (Set #4554), which was released in Europe in 1991 but in the USA, it came out with the rest of the 9V trains in 1992. Stickers are applied to both sides of the sign.

I have these to trade. At the moment I will need to have another look to gather together the 4554 train station set, but I know I have it (most likely mixed together in a huge plastic box). As stated previously, what I am wanting to trade this for is the Wii U special edition of LEGO Jurassic World (in particular the box).…
