   Hello I know this may be a long shot, but my Grandpa is currently building set #42006 and called me today asking if Lego sent him a wrong part. I'm pretty sure he has all the correct parts, he's just not putting something together properly. I would love to help him out, but I live 2 hours away and won't be out to see him…

The instructions show the (tan) connector sliding completely into the driving ring (red), then the gear (dk grey) slides onto the driving ring.
