I've been playing with LEGOs since I was a little kid when I would get them as gifts. I probably don't have nearly as many sets as a lot of you guys do, and unfortunately don't have much money (or space) for more. I've gotten more into LEGO now since I discovered LDD, and hopefully one day I'll be able to buy more real…

I was working on my old #4095 set the other day and finally built some thing with it after fixing it. However, I was having problems actually attaching certain pieces. Some pieces still fit but no longer click, instead they are very hard to attach and feel quite spongy when pressing them down. When I was building the head…

OK, two more points. What about the rectangular antenna? There is a dish on the picture... And can anyone identify the lbg bars behind the circles/outlets? They look more like the old style from 10179, which are out of production (BL part #4095).

Go for Technic, Mindstorms, Boost, Power Functions, trains, misc electronic sets like #4095, #8479, exc. New or antique, it's all fun to tinker with. Stay away from Powered Up though, it's rather janky (hopefully they fix it and make it more like power functions, but for now IMO it's not worth it).

Step 11 of build 2 of #4095 calls for the 5th and 6th of part 6132373 but it's not needed and there are only 5 in the set anyway. You don't know how long I spent looking for it (this was messing with it back in 2018 so the set was already ancient and I immediately assumed a missing part) and the subsequent relief/rage when…

@obi_g, which element are you not familiar with? It is a really easy mod and you should be able to identify the parts from the pictures, but if you are not familiar with an element just let me know and I will link you to it. The elements you see are just threaded through the old style (slightly longer) rod:…
