The title and image speak for themselves, really. This is not trolliage... I'm interested in others opinions and hope this results in useful, productive, honest discourse... I guess I should add that the LEGO elements shown in the image are all transparent 1x1 plates. LEGO Element ID 3005740 / Bricklink item no: 4073. I'm…

Hi there, Just did a Pick a Brick on AFOL day in Westfield and they didn't have any of the below which I really wanted: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogPG.asp?P=4073&colorID=14 I have lots of new Trans Clear and also Lime Green of the round 1x1 plates and would ideally be looking to swap say 100 of each of these for the…

I haven't asked her, but I'm pretty sure my 7yo daughter's favorite is 4073, the 1X1 round plate. I can tell because she is constantly updating "Studland" where the studs of every color learn to cook, trow parties, and work cooperatively to form mosaics. While my 4yo son will build with any brick he sees, I think the 3795…

How about double-sided studs, so you could attach two plates back-to back? Picture part#4073 with a stud on both sides.

Oh those road signs. Loved those. Brick-built trees are great, but not when little ones are busting them up every day - that's what pre-molded is for. We take red #4073 1x1 round plates and stick them in the round-top trees to make cherry trees.

I don't wish to knock your efforts, but did you actually take a magnifying glass to every single piece to examine the part numbers? Oh, but there are printed parts in that set, which don't carry their part numbers, only that of the base piece. And parts without numbers. I think you're talking about Rebrickable, and their…

This is kinda hard to explain, but if you took a 1x1 brick that has a stud on every side (http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/4733), and attached a round, flat, 1x1 (http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/4073) to each side (and the top), and on top of each of those, a small 'saucer' piece, (http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/4740) I…

@560Heliport That was fine, elements on a sprue are listed... in fact, there really is quite a few of them! I used to love getting 4073 on their sprue... I think I have about eight lurking in a spares bag somewhere with my original childhood sets. Almost totally pointless for anything other than your suggested use, but, as…

Curious. I mentioned these just the other day: http://www.bricksetforum.com/discussion/comment/382634/#Comment_382634 They're part 4073, which is why some sites use that number for the single plates (but not Brickset, because they're not). What sort of question is that? The boards on all the fan sites are full of such…

I think I got it all, but might have missed something. Depending how they're used, you might need one of two types of jumper plates (the 1x2 plates with a single stud in the middle). I listed both because I don't see where they're used in the build, so don't know which would be suitable. They're listed first among the tan…
