If there's enough space behind the minifig for the protruding stud, you can always use the "washing machine brick" (http://www.brickset.com/ajax/getParts.aspx?Design=4070&aid=hsi4070)

Part 4070, but 2 studs wide. Sure, you could put 2 of the existing ones next to each other, but for structural integrity, I would love a wider one.

Maybe they're facing the reality that people don't tend to use their terminology in normal speech (massive understatement). Who would call the 4070 anything but a "headlight brick," or, more rarely, an "Erling brick"?

In the last 10 years or so Lego has made many new bricks that people call "SNOT"s, I prefer bracket. https://brickset.com/parts/tag-SNOT. Also there are many versions that are 2 width with a 1 width counterpart (also 4 width). There has NOT been a 2 wide https://brickset.com/parts/design-4070 which I find interesting :)…

Am I missing something, or is this item missing from the database? https://shop.lego.com/en-US/THE-LEGO-NINJAGO-MOVIE-Play-Display-Case-5005406 The one I bought today at TRU has the “set” number 4070 on the front.

These new sets are great additions to the LEGO Architecture series. This has been a great year for the LEGO Architecture series, with 6 sets announced so far. (2011 is the only other year with 6 new sets.) I just prepared a lengthy preview of both sets with some initial analysis. That review includes photos of the real…

I decided to sell off most of my polybag collection to focus on building up my minifig collection. I have some of the more special items here for trade. All sets are still in original sealed packaging. Here is what I have available: #5000023 Exclusive Minifigure Pack (Lego Store Birthday promo) #4049 Nesquick Rabbit Film…

Yes, that's why I posted the link as well. Of course you are absolutely correct I would have given the name too. However without the link/part number some people would still not know which one I meant, 4070 (headlight brick) resembles it but does not give the same smooth effect ;)

I have extensive experience of LEGO's lights. I used 60 sets in a recent build. They are the same diameter of a LEGO stud, pin, axle, etc... So you can fit them into the hole of a Technic brick or beam, or into the back or bottom of a #4070 headlight/Ehrlinger brick. There are many other obscure ways to connect them, of…

It's honestly pretty easy to use. I've bought countless minifigs and special pieces from there. Never gone all in on a big order, but it wouldn't daunt me now if I did. Starting small with a minifig might be the perfect intro - just be aware that the postage makes a single minifig a bit more expensive than you'd hope.…
