   I have used 31079 to build a lifeguard look out post with beach and sea scene. It’s my first attempt at an alternate build.

   Middle of photo 2, the 4x4 dish with red, green, yellow, and blue segments was in three sets: #10264 Corner Garage, #31104 Monster Burger Truck, and #31079 Sunshine Surfer Van.

   There's also a Friends bumper car polybag #30409 currently on store shelves? Have you checked out the Creator 'Sunshine Surfer Van' #31079? It's an amazing little set featuring a converted VW Vanagon with a full RV interior.

   After buying and building sets 31052 Vacation Getaways, 60117 Van & Caravan, 60182 Pick Up Truck Caravan Camper and 31079 Surfer Van my son wanted to continue the RV and camping theme. So, we built him a truck and camper.

   I think you'd need some pretty extensive skills to strengthen it. A much more robust and age-appropriate camper van would be #31079 Sunshine Surfer Van. It's a really good build and still more complex than all the Lego City sets. It's a 2018 set though so probably retired. I suspect you could pick it up for a reasonable…
