Yes.... 1966 British LEGO Ltd. continued production of the 480-481-482-483 (Building Toy labeled) sloped bricks that matched the earlier 280-281-282-283 bricks. But in continental Europe they merged the 280-281-282-283 sets into two sets... 480 and 481 (LEGO System labeled)... and later in the 1960s the EU 480 and 481…

New set from Dirk Denoyelle's Amazings team: To celebrate the addition of a plateosaurus skeleton to the Museum of Natural Sciences in Brussels. An online reservation for this EUR 50 set with 282 bricks is required, and only available for pickup at the museum on Sunday 17 December. Seems like the Amazings team will do a…

At least the SW calendar also has 6 minifigs/droids. The Friends calendar also has the lowest piece count: 217 vs 248 for City and 309(!) for Star Wars. 6 animals in the Friends calendar though, vs 2(?) last year. (Last year Friends also only had 218 pieces, vs 290 for City and 282 for Star Wars)

Missed out on Avatar Air Temple #3828, new and sealed on eBay for $282. I’ve been watching a Fire Nation Ship #3829 listing for months and the Air Temple popped up as a new listing and it was sold within 5 hours. I already have a used set of it, so I hesitated and now I’m kinda kicking myself for missing out on a sealed…

However old they may get, I don't see that as a reason for manufacturing history about them if there is nothing interesting to be said of them in the first place. (It's the same reason @Istokg doesn't talk about some random, generic, Classic Suplemental pack, like #282, which has no peculiar or particularly interesting…

I have some of the older wooden LEGO stuff, including one of the 1932 Yo-yos*, and a copy of Klodser from 1946. I also have some of the older brick sets, including #280, #282, and Mursten #211. I also have the UK and AU version of #810 Town Plan. *(On a side note, does anyone happen to know the names of the six employees…

It will be interesting to see the parts inventory. Despite the Market's high parts count, many look like small pieces. Here's the weight distribution of the 4 Winter sets. All data is from Bricklink. Toy Bakery Post Cottage Shop Office >=0.01g (Non-zero) 97 83 66 176 >=0.20g (1x1 plate) 176 105 222 319 >=0.36g (1x2 plate)…

I've been going through my LEGO collection to sort out and bag each set separately. Though I have a few sets from other themes, the bulk of my collection is SW. I counted the number of pieces used in the actual build of each set carefully, but it would be helpful if someone could verify these numbers. Note that I am not…
