Amazed that the SSD has not had a UK reduction given it's apparent unpopularity. Would it kill them to knock it down to the US RRP (after currency conversion = £258)?

Hi all, Just doing a bit of spring cleaning and stumbled across some sets I have multiples of that have now retired, along with some sealed sets I have. We all know the prices these sets make after market, however I am open to ideas on pricing's for Brickset users, so feel free to ping me a message with your offer and lets…

Errrm, not quite sure how to tell you this without causing upset. There are 3096 parts, at one brick a month it will take you 258 years. Fine, if you're a vampire. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, good luck though, we're all counting on you.

There is another issue, although I have never seen it this badly warped.... and that is that early Cellulose Acetate 1:87 LEGO vehicles can be warped... although I don't ever remember seeing it as badly as this particular #258 VW Van. Also the non-warped VW Van next to it has ARAL (petrol station) stickers, and those are…

Here are some real combinations of LEGO buses/vans/pickups. And this is just the red/white combos... there's also green/white, blue/white, red/yellow, green/yellow and blue/yellow. And then there's all the rare combos that makes collecting these without some kind of guide difficult. The 1:87 cars/truck history gets very…

The short version: I've created several bricklists that group CMF minifigures into related themes (links below). Longer version I collected CMF series sight-unseen up to around Series 10, at which point I started to feel 1) burnout from regular releases, and the effort of feeling through bags, and 2) 'duplicate fatigue' -…

I have now built the Aston Martin DB5. It was enjoyable. I discovered that Step 221 used the yellow brick I was referring to above. Also step 258 used the same yellow brick in the black ejector seat. Step 252 used 2 of these bricks in black (part of roof) which when complete are mostly hidden. So by swapping black for…
