Helping hubby build the #8274 Harvester. I surprised him with that and #8284 to build while he recuperates from a toe amputation. Also waiting to be built is #21018 and #8263 is on the way via us mail.

Cute, but I must admit, I'm not a fan of using the stick-shifters for anything but control thingies. It's just too much constant readjustment to keep them in position. For example, #21018 looks like a nightmare.

I just used mine on #21018 United Nations Headquarters, a lady in front of me used one on #21005-1 Fallingwater, so looks it would be not an issue on the studio. Edit, store had #7065 Alien Mothership at 50% off.

I tried it out but I just didn't find it appealing. The figures and portal were built once with stickers applied; everything is present and hasn't been used that much. Has anyone had an issue with the instructions for #21028: New York City. From steps 30 to 31, the position of 1x2 jumpers and 1x4 plates changes and then in step 35, it goes back. Is everyone's instructions like that?
