I appreciate this question being asked as I've always wondered what that extra wheel was in my #10254 Winter Holiday Train. It's clearly not included in the instructions. I was always afraid I was missing something. For the Winter Holiday Train, is there a way to use the flangeless wheel in the original design? Or, would…

Thanks for the tips.I have opted for an additional 60197 as it really needs an engine on either side to make it look complete. The extra track and extra motor will come in handy with the Christmas train (10254) and Hogwart's Express that I've ordered. My Christmas tree will look fantastic this year.

Well, I had originally planned on starting this thread in August to land a little bit closer to what will likely be the official reveal date in September, but in the end, I just couldn't help myself. Speculation has traditionally started in July. And, seeing as the Holiday Season is built on traditions, it only seemed…

Hello Fellow Bricksetters! I am paring down my collection to rid myself of the peripheral stuff not part of the core collection model. I am looking to sell everything for 5% below the cheapest similar item listed on BrickLink. If a similar item is not present, I will likely go to 10% below the next similar item - like I…

I see the conversation regarding the 2019 Winter Village offering have started in the 2018 thread. I thought it might be good (as suggested by @ http:// piratemania7) to get the 2019 thread officially going. As I also thought it was a good start to the conversation, I've also copied and pasted information from Toymaker who…

I mean, LEGO has gone ahead and used plastic axles in sets like #10261-1 and #70922-1 and I haven't heard about too many fans encountering issues with those. It's possible that the development process for those roller coaster elements is what gave them the opportunity to figure out the right geometries and/or the…

Trade agreed for the Avengers Tower promo, just now looking for #40333 Battle of Hoth and the promotional prints if anyone's got any they're looking to let go, either through a trade or cash, before I head off to ebay. Cheers #41616 Hermione Granger #75926 Pteranodon Chase #40254 Nutcracker #30407 Harry's Journey to…

I haven’t tried the phone app yet (the Disney train will be a Christmas gift so the additional app functions might be appreciated for that), but bought the individual powered up components to install in our old #10254 train. The whole setup works awesome, not needing to take apart more of the train engine to fit the IR…

I've never (unknowingly) bought a set I already had, and I don't normally have an "unbuilt" pile, except for maybe if I buy several sets together, but right now I have #70653, #70652, #75228, #75251, #70665, #10254, #60240 all waiting- plus a bunch of recent polybags! The problem is lack of space; I need to dismantle some…
