What is the difference between set 10183 and K10183. I have it marked down that I own K10183. Did something extra come with this to make it a product collection? Also, where can I find this information on the K10183 page?

I have received an open, but "new" 10183. I was hoping to confirm how many sealed bags are included inside. I count 16 bags, plus 3 train base(s), 2 black plates (6x16), 2 black rigid hoses, and some magnets. Can anyone confirm if that accounts for everything? I would appreciate the information.

Intrigued by this train and the fact you can build so many different variations. Was wondering if anyone has motorised it with the RC stuff (ie. PF from say the 7938 or 7939 set)? I'm only looking at trains that can be RC'd, since I don't intend to go down the 4.5/9/12v route as i've only just started "collecting" and…

Does anyone have the instructions for the alternate models for 10183 Hobby Train or K10183? The description for the set says, "Step by step building instructions for 30 models can be downloaded for free from www.LEGOFactory.com/buildinginstructions". I could only find the instructions for the main model. It looks like a…

I've recently acquired a #10183 Hobby Trains set which I have little desire for. It is sealed, and the instructions are separate (as was intended). You can build around 30 models with this set, and it is a must for 9v Train enthusiasts. I was wondering whether anyone here would be interested in a trade for #10194 Emerald…

Hi I continue to sell a portion of my Lego collection and have some more stuff should anyone be interested: I'd prefer to sell as a 1 lot (but might consider individual items): 10182 x1 10224 x1 10219 x2 10002 x1 - crease on box, but overall nice 10194 x1 10183 x1 - minor crease 7937 x1 - argos price stickers & some crease…

Actually, if you want to try a really fun set, get the 10183. There are so many possibilities there it's scary.

I'm guessing it could be an electric powered Crocodile engine, as there has not been one for some time (since #10183).

I bought #10183 sets as much as I could, at $50 a piece they were a good deal and I ended up with 16 or so.

@mldj77 I see you've been collecting for a while. Did you buy all of those #10183 sets when they were $50 each?
