    First big brag in over a year: Picked up #10228 Haunted House this week for $90 on craigslist. It was a little dusty but in perfect adult owned shape with the exception of a missing tan shrub. Great find and right in time for Halloween!!!

    My wife threw several things that I had bought her out of a second story window. This included #10228. Finding sand green and tan bricks in a yard isn't very fun. For the record, I TOTALLY deserved it.

    My #10228 Haunted House has been built since I bought it in 2012. I've heard horror stories about the sand green bricks cracking. I'm scared to take it apart! Edit: kinda off topic, but talking about the Haunted House in October is sort of WV-adjacent, right? :)

    Update on lightailing.com - my #10249 order arrived today. Seems to be the same packaging as my original #10228 lightailing.co order - only difference I've spotted so far is that this one seems to feature true LEGO bricks, not knock-offs!

    Bb8 is not. There really is no debating it. If you still insist... Does the #10187 vw beetle count as a ucs? It's a large set with a plaque?? Additionally, if we just get to pick what counts as ucs' I think that #10228 haunted house should be a modular

    This isnt so much a MOC, its more of a mod. It's probably obvious to some but this is a build of the Haunted House #10228 but modified to not be dilapidated and to be Christmas-y. I'd love suggestions on any changes. I havent done anything for the interior yet but will probably work on that soon.

    You can use the part out value page for 10228. The current average part out value is $450, you might get some pieces cheaper, but then add S&H from multiple store, so my guess would be $500-$550 mark.
