This is great, another fellow Calgarian @quirOz. Hello to @josephliyen as well. I have been surfing out here for a bit now. Great community with lots of information and friendly people.

I was surfing Barnes and Nobles, and saw a few sets for sale online. A few of those are: Lego SW T-6 Shuttle - $42 Lego SW Bounty Hunter Assualt Gunship- $35 Lego PoP Battle of Amalut- $56 And then the usual Lego PotC on discount. Hope this helps someone! Regards, Sam

Solid point... I just wonder how many kids in the 5-12 yr would surf for leak and wait? Also the themes are so different - most AFOLs are completists or or selectists.

^ I have a feeling, every 'adult' will claim to be an AFOL next week. The queue outside will be kids I suspect. I can't see the store staff surfing anybody out. Will be an interesting morning, that's for sure.

And not to mention the new VW Camper Van. The designer put his initials onto a surf board within a poster. Ingenius. http://thecarhobby.blogspot.com/2011/10/lego-10220-volkswagen-t1-camper-van_15.html

I think I have a s4 surfer girl (haven't opened but can feel the surf board). What are the chances of getting an s1 nurse (I know it isn't on your list but a 3 way swap?)

Note surf board 17947 is the same as 90397 on bricklink - I was taking the part numbers from brickowl as it seems to be a little more up to date for newer parts. Similarly the sword 18034 is 95673, Hair 18637 is 92258. etc.

LOL, I wonder if Lego has an employee or two surfing the interweb Lego pages gathering intel about discounts people are getting, what AFOL's want like the next UCS set, or 12k piece set, etc.

Venunder: might be a web glitch. When surfing at work we have an ancient version of internet explorer as the browser. I had an anticipated shipping date of February! Back at home no such erroneous date. Or perhaps Google Translate makibg a mistake?

I do a fair amount of surfing on eBay and I bid only one boxes in decent shape. I lose most due to skyrocketing bids, but I get a few at great prices. Plus bricklink has been a friend.
