The article gives a short summary of what happened at the Lego Panel today. http://www.jediinsider.com/index.php?catid=8&itemid=13657 It also seems Lego is expanding regular sets to the 9000s. Perhaps they should be added to the database? 9492 Tie fighter 9499 [Queen amidala set]

I though that the #9492 was an excellent model. It was pretty much the same scale as the #10179 so you could make some nice dioramas with the sets. Not sure how they can improve on it other than just make it bigger. Hopefully the new TIE will be the same scale as #75032 (USC X-wing).

Hi all. I have some Lego sets to sell in London. Good prices, Nice looked after sets and large choice of MISB. I am parting with my collection to fund my education and grow my own business, so it is a genuine reason for selling and NOT profit making! saying that I will not accept ridiculous prices. Does this count? I gave my brother a #9492 TIE fighter back in 2012/13 and upon opening it he found the contents were a completely different set. Luckily Target exchanged it. Makes me wonder about all those sealed sets being traded for crazy prices out there.

I have currently TIE fighter available for trade. (Located in Estonia) Preferably against other SW sets like new X-wing.

Hi @iannn29, I think the term needs to be clarified a bit. As I'm not fully sure the 9492-9495 sets are at true minifig scale as @sumolego asked also. I would consider them 'system scale' for those while others like the UCS Slave I, UCS Imperial Shuttle, UCS Falcon are truly minifig scale.

Please note: None of the sets come with boxes. Read carefully and feel free to ask questions as many sets have no minifigs and some have no instructions (as noted). Pharaoh's Quest 7305 Scarab Attack complete except for box 7306 Golden Staff Guard complete except for box 7307 Flying Mummy Attack complete except for box…

I ordered a #9492 TIE Fighter in July for $35 from Amazon US. The condition was listed as "Used-Good" with a description of "Packaging is damaged. Item may have minor cosmetic damage, but still functions as intended". I received a taped up box which had been previously ripped open but all the parts bags were accounted for…
