Four boxes of 7499: Flexible and Straight Tracks and a box of 7895: Switching Tracks is a good place to start. Of course, 7938: Passenger Train includes a complete circle of track and a train too! 7937: Train Station includes four sections of straight track and is retiring soon. Cheers from Claremore, OK! Hi everyone It's with great regret that I'm going to have to move on a significant proportion of my collection. I've just bought a new house and need to get some extra cash to do it up. I've listed some of my sets below and will add to it over time. All are new and sealed. I'm in Hertfordshire in the UK but travel…

Hi, With a house move and hence space, and not getting round to building as much as I would like, I've got quite a few sets available to sell. All are brand new in box. Happy to get estimates of postage or arrange collection, (I'm in Cheshire but may travel around quite a bit to meet up if that's an option.) Open to…

#7938 comes with 16 curved and 16 flex track pieces, which is exactly what is in the picture on the info page here. I would say minimum you'd probably want 1x #7499 straight track if buying new to make it more than just a circle. If buying used I would stick to the straight and curved pieces and not the flex track.

@Pitfall69 Yes, I have. I used a #7938 up a slope that did a 13 brick rise 1 plate per 5" section at a time. The train did the incline but the new magnets don't hold as well as the old style and the cars kept de-coupling. You could either put the engine in the back of the train or put 1 x 2 tiles on the new style couplings…

Hello threadizens, Following on from my recent 'how to sell sets?' post the other day, I'd like to offer the following sets up for sale. All are new in sealed boxes, have been stored in nice normal smoke/pet free conditions the whole time. Due to the enormous size of some of the sets, it would be useful to arrange…

@BuilderMom, if you just want power function (battery box, IR controller and receiver), you can consider some of the trains (#3677, #7938, #7939), builds are easier than most Technic and a nice introduction to power functions. If you really want to go Technic, my advice would be #9395 + #8293, it has instructions to add…
