Old (1970's) stickers on rare sets - can they be removed and reapplied?
I'm a very lucky lady and have managed to acquire a few very nice condition 1970's sets (1589, 375, 377, 671 and some others). I'm cleaning and prepping them for sale. The vast majority of the stickers are there and intact, but a few are in the wrong places. Is it possible to remove these and re-glue them back on? There… -

Yep, Samsonite manufactured LEGO bricks in the United States from 1961 to 1972. I recently lucked into a copy of #375 / #6075 Yellow Castle on eBay that's in remarkably good condition (the stickers are actually still almost fully saturated). Your Holiday Train set sounds like mine, so you should expect the same price of about $375. For the rest, your best bet is to go to eBay's completed listings and search each of the sets individually. And as a reminder, don't forget about eBay's fees! :o) -

I have the same problem with 10179. I bought it for $375 and now they are going for close to $1200. I just think about all the sets I could buy for the differential and it makes me think about selling it. I mean it really is a great looking set, but almost $1000??????? -

This TC-14 appears to have really driven up the demand for the gold chrome C-3PO. The Bricklink sales average has gone up about $100 over the past couple of months. Average for May so far is $350, with one going for $375. Lowest available is now $450. -
