@LegoFanTexas - well, I hope he doesn't care. If he doesn't know, this will be a harsh wake-up call :) But I agree with @jocappy: If you're not interested in the boxes, hold on to them for a while and then sell them. Especially the boxes for the big sets are quite valuable. I'm looking for the box to 10190 myself. People…

Just spotted #10190 MS for GBP 490 and a new #10182 CC for GBP 380 by the same vendor on Bricklink, Toysbuddystore (Maintained by hotbricksales). Then I realised it's only been open since October 5th, has Zero feedback and only accepts payments by Bank Transfer, Money Order, MoneyGram.com or Western Union Transfer. Is it…

#10190 Market Street (also 2007 I believe) As you note, it is a point for debate (which we've been through in other threads!), although I think TLG itself refers to 10 so it is including MS. HH is modular style but it isn't modular (in that its layers don't separate). MS as a fan design was not really part of modular range…

Hello, I’m new here and I’ve just re-discovered LEGO and it has hit me like a ton of bricks! (literally! Rolf). Thought I’d share a story about my crazy last few weeks. While on paternity leave for our first baby I decided to buy a Lego set and build. The set was Parisian Restaurant #10243. I built it in 3 days taking my…

I bought the set 8893 Bionicle ;-) something just for the dark blue arches with the purpose of bricklinking MS. I decided to go another route, namely recolouring MS to green and lime. So I could part with the whole 8893 set (yes, even with the Bionicle minifigures:-D) or just with the sought after arches and dkblue parts.…

I didn't want to be too pushy, but since you asked, here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEGO-Market-Street-10190-ORIGINAL-AND-COMPLETE-/300746577303?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4605e49597 Note the three minifigs are standing on the five blue arches :). Had I realized how expensive the doors were, I would have…

Since the modulars and creator expert themes seem to have 2 things in common. They have a large number of pieces and are usually labeled 16+ on the box. Could you have a category for sets over say, 1000 pieces ( 10190 is the smallest modular at 1248 pieces ) or maybe a 16+ category? Either way, they could be listed in set…

Are you sure this site actually works? Apparently, if you combine all 6 of the modulars, the closest you can get to buliding a full set is 80% of 30130-1 Mini Black Pearl. Doesnt seem right to me ... http://rebrickable.com/pick_set?p=1&s1=10185&s2=10211&s3=10182&s4=10197&s5=10190&s6=10218&c=1&s=show+all

Many thanks for all the interest, I should add that I am also open to offers of swaps as well as offers to buy. Feel free to contact me if you would like to offer swap(s) for modular builds: #10182 Café Corner #10185 Green Grocer #10190 Market Street #10197 Fire Brigade #10211 Grand Emporium #10224 Town Hall ...or if you…
