Look at the current price of 6211, that set has really risen in the past 6 months. I was lucky to pickup a copy for $200 six months ago. :) I do agree, an MC80 UCS would be sweet... how to do it without it looking ugly, is another matter... How about a UCS Nebulon-B?

A couple of things to add: The Star Destroyer #6211 is a great set. It's kind of fragile, but it looks great on the outside and has a nice interior for playing. The new Hoth set #75014 is a good Hoth starter set. Comes with a snowspeeder. And who doesn't love a Tauntan? #8089, Wampa Cave is a great add-on. Another…

The target Star Destroyer deal 10 years ago #6211....I can't remember how much it was, but I know it was good....my son built it when he was 5 and still has it on display proudly in his room and remembers it as his first big Lego set he built by himself (mostly).

Thanks @Brickarmor for getting things back on track. Ill say this though, seeing that 105 dollars for a set like this is considered a good deal now makes me glad I am not devoting money into collecting SW LEGO anymore. Not too long ago this type of set (#6211) was 99.99 USD RRP

7965 isn't close to being mini fig scale, fitting minifigs in something doesn't make it minifig scale, after all, 6211 is playable with figs and obviously isn't to scale. 7965 is, what... Less than half the size of 10179? 10179 is true minifig scale, but oddly enough has no interior to actually play with, which is a shame.

Looking to sell or trade a few items. Thought it worth a go before ebaying. #6211 SW Star Destroyer No box, very tatty instructions. 4 minifigs only. Darth Vader (cape slightly frayed), 2 x Imperial Guards, 1 Stormtrooper. Apart from one or two very minor parts (a few pence here and there on Bricklink) the build is all…

Last year I bought #6211 from a guy for $70, I was so excited! I went home and built it then set it on my desk. Later I come into my room to find my little brother sitting on the floor in a scattered pile of what was once a star destroyer. It took me hours to find all the pieces, one was even broken!

My 8877 Dark Fortress had an extra bag with the armor pieces for the main knights. It has been awhile so I can't remember all the bonus parts that were doubled alongside the armor. I also got 2 'Bag 11s' in my 6211 Star Destroyer which was a lot of bonus parts. Don't know if that was typical for those sets or not though.
