Am I the only one that feels a 'meh' when hearing that #9398 is sold out? Maybe it is because of the whole #41999 circus.

I am basing my decision to load up on 41999 on the collectibility of this set. Technic does nothing for me personally but I know collectors will go nuts for this set and 20k worldwide is a tiny number. I see no reason this won't at least match 8043.....I am guessing TLG may do another production run but 41999 will be gold…

^41999 and 21050 come quickly on top of my head. 21050 was a pleasant surprise as I can not resist the huge discount B&N gives.

I had a similar discussion last year about trading #41999 for Hogwarts Castle. My assumption was that Hogwarts Castle was going to keep going up and that #41999 had reached its peak and might actually go down in price. My assumption was correct as Hogwarts Castle is going for $400+ USD and #41999 is going for $20-30 less…

This is where folks can go broke taking a profit. They think they made 100% in a few weeks and all is good. Meanwhile they leave an incredible amount of upside on the table.
