Well today I found #8043 at the dump swap area... No box, instructions are there. Looks like most of the important stuff is in there but I'll have to put it together to figure out if it's complete. Regardless, free is free

^No, I didn't they had at least 2 of them. I am a frequent buyer there, never had an issue, I once bought at that store for another bricksetter a #8043 that was there way past EOL, everything was good.

Technic are definitely harder going. While I enjoyed building #8043 and driving the end result, I got really fed up with #8258. It seemed to take forever, very tedious and I wasn't thrilled at the end.

There's a sale at target.com (http://www.target.com/c/stuff-you-love-toys-outdoor-play/-/N-56g6f). I don't follow these sets enough to know if there's interest, but I noticed the 8043 Excavator at $171 and 4645 Harbor at $70.

The interest is not as widespread as System sets, so it may take longer, but if you're pricing it at or below market rate, #8070 and #8043 will almost certainly sell. RIS 2.0 will probably be more difficult to move because it's previous generation technology.

^ Last TRU BOGO I bought 2 8043's and they sent 2 separate shipping confirmations and both were shipped separately. When I received them they were both in a box big enough to fit both of them.

I've just put up the above from my collection. I think the price is fair as is, but open to reasonable offers! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191076815255?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

My most frustrating was 8043 Mechanical Excavator around Christmas time. I used the wrong small cogs from the outset to construct the gearbox and was extremely difficult to swap-out for the right cogs without taking the whole thing apart. That was a very late night!
