    Thanks for replying, it was basically a question as to why, after it's been out so long, does the description of the 79008 pirate ship state 10 plain shields are included when there are none in the box and if you look in the pictures none are to be seen.

    I once asked a manager to lower the price on #79008 because it was on clearance for a year at $75. He said he would give it to me for $60, he looked it up on his phone, I offered $55 and he said yes.

    Just managed to buy #79008 pirate ship ambush for £60 on eBay, a good price I think for a retired set. I also managed to get the good morning bilbo figure for £5, to complete the entire hobbit minidigure collection, absolutely chuffed!

    I wanted #79008 Pirate Ship Ambush. That scene is awesome, the ship is awesome, the designer is awesome. The Soldiers of the Dead and the King are awesome. Though I admit it would be nice if a couple more pirate were included. Rather than just the minifigure of Peter Jackson's cameo.
