Sold my last one earlier this year for $750 on eBay. Still mad that LEGO canceled 5 I had ordered when it was on clearance for $125. I cry myself to sleep every night thinking about it.

^^^@dougts In that case it is a rather different ballgame from the "spend $750 get 10 boxes" type of BF bonanza. If I lived near enough a store I might make a few trips, but as it is only one is possible.

Thanks for the helpful advice. I live in the US, Pennsylvania to be exact. For a used set I would be willing to pay $550-600, and for new I would be willing to pay $700-750. Also the blond in the video, love the accent.

The problem arises when you, say spend £100 to buy 1000 parts. In a year you sell 750, receving £200. Your profit is not simply £200-100=100, because you have 250 parts still in your inventory.

That set unfortunately has been retired for a little while. Only option now is through the web with sites like ebay, Bricklink, craigslist, etc or maybe even here if you ask. It has shot up in value a lot though (~$750+).

The thing is, one day a set goes for $750, the next day the same set. In the same condition, goes for $250. There is no formula. In 2000, I bought an opened Metro Park and Service Tower for $150. In 2009, I bought one MISB for $210.

If this is the collection that I think it is then I wouldn't pay the asking price for it, personally I'd pay no more than about £750-£800 for it. The first wave (except Orc Forge) are all opened. If I'm wrong, and this isn't the same collection then I apologise.

Our "polish ebay" has a few offers from big online sellers (legit stores) at 750-800 PLN (so roughly 200 bucks), some with 20+ stock. No idea where those prices are coming from, but it's not just this one seller.

@Kevin_Hyatt Small mosaics (15"x15") start at $500 and go up to $750. Large mosaics (30"x30") start at $1500 and go up from there. All mosaics on my FB page are either for sale or trade. I make custom mosaics, with payment plans an option.
