Great find! There was one set there in mint condition. I bought them straight away. I was coming to the conclusion that they might be transparent stickers, but I have had a hard time finding vintage stickers on bricklink. The only ones I have are from sticker books 200 and 6000 and some red space torso stickers.

^That store has a lot count of 2700. I know some stores are in the 6000 lot range. To get to that kind of number you generally need to do used parts and some do "gear" as well. The best stores as far as finding what you want generally have a good mix of both number of parts and lots.

Having derailed the topic a bit earlier... Let us put this back onto Star Wars as the UCS theme. I now have to say UCS Cloud City. But I mean really big. 6000+ pieces to get the scale of the Darth Vader banquet, the Carbonite freezing of Han Solo with Boba Fett and the Luke/Darth duel scene underneath the city.

Am I the only one who filed by set number? It does yield some odd results like some of the 'newer' City sets and 9v train accessories being located in the 4000 series (with Pirates of the Carribean) while my 80s town stuff is in 6000 (with a loads of Space and Castle) and 12v trains in the 7000 series, but it's the way my…

^ This is an excellent point. I for one could not justify spending $500 on the MF, even when it was going EOL and was on sale. Frankly I do not think I am unique in my aprehension when it comes to the reality of paying $500+ for a set. It is an easy thing to admit that a 6000+ piece UCS AT-AT would be cool, but a…

Fantastic question, but the ultimate collaboration already exists and its an official thing, I draw you attention to the amazing LEGO Ideas book from 1980: https://images.brickset.com/library/view/?f=ideasbooks/6000 Its still the most ambitious cross over event including Avengers Endgame, Classic City, Classic Space and…

I still have my original police minifigure! He looks like CCC's: sticker a little worn. I also have the #6000 Idea book with one copy of that sticker unused. I don't have much interest in this series. I think it's a neat idea, but I don't really want any of them- except the policeman. But at one per case, I'm not even…

I dont buy it. I may be wrong in my assumption (Lord knows it wouldnt be the first time), however....I just dont see TLG pumping out a 6000+ model anymore....and, even if they did, it would be count inflation plain and simple. If the UCS MF never released until today, I think it would be a GREAT design...but less scale,…

I have 2 siblings. My brother and I both built in the late 70's and 80's. I was Space and Castle and he was town and never the twain did meet. If I needed some of his town pieces for an MOC, they had to be stolen under cloak of darkness. We would fight over pieces to build model that were pictured in the old #6000 Idea…

I regret not buying the Taj Mahal, I really wanted it because it is the largest set available, but by the time I had the money it wasn't available any more :( I'm going to LEGOLAND Windsor next week and I really hope I can get one over there :) If not, I'll have to wait for some set with 6000 pieces :) Post edited by…
