^ already? 5766 came out at Christmas '10, so it's plenty past it's prime in relation to most stuff currently on the shelves. Seems like the past 2 waves is pretty much the shelf-target these days, which is about a year of shelf life. Odds and ends and underperforming sets hang on a bit longer of course. Summer '11 stuff…

I ordered this set from TRU with the $40 off $150 deal. I added in the 5766 Creator Log Cabin http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=5766-1 and 2516 Ninja Training Outpost http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=2516-1 to get above $150. If I spread out the $40 savings proportionally, the Fire Temple was $89.02 or 26% off. I'm…

Hi, I'd thought I'd let my fellow Aussie Fans know of some pretty decent sales going on at Kmart at the moment. Most sort of around the 30% mark, which brings some prices down to match US prices, which is rare. Thanks for the guidance. A quick look at the official modular instructions cleared up the trouble I was having with the floors and with getting the second story of the building to come off without coming apart. I had been connecting the second story to the first story sort of how the roof assembly is attached to the walls…

With 470 sets and 165,944 pieces, my average part count is 353. Which makes #5766 Log Cabin my most averagely sized set (355 pieces). I don't include CMFs in my collection, but I do have over 130 of my childhood sets which consists mostly of small Town and Space sets - I might do a pre- v. post-dark ages comparison at some…

Other day I saw a sale post with following: * #10182 Cafe Corner $50 * #10197 Fire Brigade $50 * #10194 Emerald Express $30 * #5766 Log Cabin $20 All NISB. Did a double-take and eyes jumped out of head. Long story short. Thank goodness I must have seen the post shortly after it went up. I sent message to take all. In the…
