Given the number of sets you can build, I am no longer building the retired expensive sets. Just sold my last 10019 Rebel Blockade Runner, was new in box and bought it last year to build it, but the price is just too high. For the cost of that one set, I can buy the entire line of Friends and have cash left over to buy…

Several years ago, I went to a local toy show and they had a table full of Lego sets. The one that caught my eye was #10019-1. It was in a black and white box, so I wasn't sure what to make of it. The seller had $35 on it and a note that said complete. I passed. I wish I would have at least taken a glance inside the box.…

^ And just following up, for the licensed sets of which are too old (and expensive) to obtain multiples, I began to go down the same road as @Willhorner and purchased the waterslide paper. It wasn't until I'd scanned in the sheets from set numbers 10019, 7191 and 10129 (which use a transparent backing) did I realise just…

Time to clear out some of the extra stuff... All prices include ground shipping with the US, international will be actual cost. Payment via PayPal to confirmed address, via FedEx Ground in the US, fully insured of course. If you don't like my prices, tell me why, then make me an offer, but be reasonable please...…

I hear you... I've had both very good and very bad experiences with used sets... The 3450 - Statue of Liberty remains so far the very best possible experience. Every single brick was clean, they were all sorted, every single brick type was in its own zip-lock bag, neatly stacked on top of each other to keep from…

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/371552365482?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 I have just listed this used on eBay. I normally sell through bricklink (sirswedes figs and more) but only sell new/sealed items through there. Thanks, Chris

In theory, 7965 is "minifigure scale" as Lego has designed the kit to accomodate minifigures. Was still pondering this point and came across the answer on lego.wikia when looking up Tantive IV #10198. You were right @ringleheim! "The Tantive IV also appeared in 10019 Rebel Blockade Runner (as a UCS-scale model) and 10030…

The X-Wing sold for $1200 AUD which I am very happy about. I actually went back through and added up all the sets I have sold out of the lot I picked up, that I posted about in the Brag thread and technically I haven’t made all my money back as eBay fees leave me about $400 short. But I do still have 38 New Sealed sets…

The star wars UCS sets are an interesting example. With only a few exceptions, I now have them all, 10143 just arrived today and the ywing is on the way. The two hard ones are the xwing and 10019, those may be hard to do. The snowspeeder has illuded me as well. So having just started this year, I've got a decent back…
