@jason1976 Thanks! Yes I believe I have already seen that clip, or there might even be more clips where they visit the fault/Lego archive. Great nostalgia! Didn't National Geographic also do a Lego documentary a couple of years ago?! That space monorail #6990 , and that #928 or/and #497 Space Cruiser are so cool, and…

So I'm carried in on a gold chariot by mermaids, and the guy who tears my ticket hands me a solid gold C3PO. First port of call is the lifesize model LL-928 spaceship where my older brother is frozen in carbonite as punishment for stomping my Lego in 1978. Also, free parking.

From #70821-- In #70821, Emmet's vehicle is a mini/juniorized version of #70829, so what is Benny's mini spaceship suppose to represent? The design is much closer to the "Classic" lines of #928 / #497 and its little siblings, than compared to #71214, so it very likely is a mini-model of a 'new' spaceship set. Though, the…

Whaoo... I'm now very excited too. Looks like there will be quite a few pieces (I counted at least 7 slopes/tails) with the CS logo; I hope they will be printed... I wish the same for the LL929 name, but I have less hope there... Anyway, I now want to built my 928 again. :p

If I had a time machine I'd go back and make sure I got two copies of every set I had, and make sure one set was never unboxed and went somewhere safe and secure! I'd also get #928 (Space cruiser) and #6399 (Airport Shuttle)....actually I'd buy two copies of both!

I believe that it's either #375 or #928, but not sure which one I had first. I think that I may have had the castle first as I remember the purple used in the stickers as being darker than a later version of it. The first set that I bought following my dark ages was also #7101 Light Sabre Duel.

I used to have #928 as a kid but swapped it away for something that I'm sure gave the other guy a much better deal. After much searching, I finally managed to get a complete set with fully intact aerial. Also managed to complete sets that had missing pieces so I could rebuild my Classic Space collection.

6780: XT Starship - The combo of light and sounds plus a really nice shape made this really memorable for me. 7191: X-wing Fighter - Years after my DA began, this was the UCS that brought me back out and I just loved building it. 70816: Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP! - My alternative to bricklinking LL-928.

^ Yes, #497 was the designation in the US (and Canada?), while #928 was for RoW. This is the same for a number of sets in early Classic Space. The sets themselves are identical, so no need to get duplicates! When you say "The pre-1984 minifigure sets are difficult or impossible to find", what are you referring to? Sets…

Hi, Just joining in for the fun. My autistic/Aspergers son has become fully aware of Lego recently, loving Ninjago and now getting into Star Wars and Batman. So I have had to dig all my old Lego out of my parents loft which has reminded me of how much fun it really is. Tried rebuilding my old 928 Galaxy Explorer but found…
