I think I'd go for #8043 Technic Excavator. Its a complex build, doesn't immediately scream Lego to the viewer and borders on a more *grown up* RC vehicle.

started again a few weeks ago when I found my technic sets at my parents house. After a week Ipurchesed my first studless set (9391) and last saturday I got the 8043. That's it for now.... See you on the forums.

Anybody started piling up the #8110, this must be the next big set to EOL. They were £110 at amazon uk before Xmas but I was too busy buying up #4842 and #8043.

#8043 the most expensive set I ever bought. Collected it tonight and tore straight into it. The build is great so far, more complex than I expected and very clever. Loving it.

Pah, they still want $60 to ship #8043 to me (Australia). That's what the folks at Bricklink can do for me. :/ I liked it when Amazon.fr could ship to me for $20. :/ But, it will be good for little stuff. :)
