    Seeing 10123 (Cloud City) in the local toy shop and not buying it there and then. Went back the next Saturday but it was gone. Did pretty much the same thing with 10197 (Fire Brigade) and the original Sandcrawler (10144).

    The best part about #7144 is the unique smoke-colored canopy extender piece, and the fact that it is small enough to fit on the landing pad on #10123 Cloud City. Otherwise, I agree that all other versions are far superior.

    Not surprised, I've watched a production video before and lego first makes batches of bags and then puts them I'm the boxes. I still dream about finding a batch of bag 1's from 10123 ;P

    Careful: many of those UCS MF listings on ebay are scams...but yes, with the greater age of #10123 and the fact that so many Cloud City sets have been parted out for the minifig profits, the numbers of complete sets for sale are smaller right now.

    I've been waiting for a new Cloud City ever since I left my dark ages (around 2008) so anything that's even the slightest upgrade on #10123 will do very nicely. ...Infact, at this point I'd happily settle for a 100% re-boot of the original version!

    UCS SSD (10221, year2011) I believe is/was the last UCS set to be sold without numbered bags. but I also know that set 10123 Cloud City which was 2003, Did have numbered bags. looks like about 8 years of various numbered non-numbered releases.

    346 sets, only 2 of which aren't Star Wars. Those would be the Ship in the Bottle and 6915 Warp Wing. My biggest is the UCS Sandcrawler (I have all three versions). My most valuable is 10123 Cloud City (which is still sealed in the box). Got that one for 'only' 400 bucks.
