You will get your wish in 2017. It was scheduled for this year but got pushed to next year. http://brickset.com/sets/75144-1/Snowspeeder

The tag on the rumored 2016 UCS Snowspeeder (#75144) says Ultimate Collectors Series. I guess since it is not an Ultimate Collector Series, I won't have to worry about adding it to my collection to fulfill my inner OCD completist.

Credit to peffour on EB.... Details of the 2016 are available online. In particular, there's a Snowspeeder (75144) and a 'Hoth Attack' (75138) so we may be in for a snowy winter after all! There isn't any price quoted for the Snowspeeder, so it's still anyone's guess as to the size of it.

Their shipping dept must've been chaos last weekend. I placed two orders after midnight early on the 4th. The #75144 showed up with its R2 on Saturday. The #75153 and #75168 in the other order shipped separately and aren't scheduled to arrive until this Friday.

Just spotted that #75144 Snowspeeder is listed as retiring soon on UK shop@home! That's a short lifespan for a Star Wars UCS set. Even though it's a copy of an earlier set, I would guess that it would increase in value after it's gone. So probably worth looking for the best deal you can now if you want the set.

All three are brilliant but their display value is partially dependent upon what kind of space you have available. #75060 Slave I is ideally suited to a narrow slot given its height while #75192 Millennium Falcon is the best for a deep shelf or a table, particularly one set at a low height. #75144 Snowspeeder fits…

It appears that UCS is at least three different things. The original "Ultimate Collector Series", labelled as such, included #10026 which, at 187 pieces, I don't imagine is really anybody's idea of UCS, but that's what it says on the box. Then there's the current "Ultimate Collector's Series", which includes some sets from…
