    #41999 are now selling fast at £240 (+ delivery) on ebay UK. Cheapest now is £300!

    ^Yes, that's the main problem. I was in the lego store two days ago and checked out the #42008 and #42009. They are excellent models, especially the crane, and they blow #41999 out of the water. #41999 will have 1600 pieces and #42009 has 2600, an extra 1,000 pieces for $20 (USD) more. I understand the power functions cost…

    The only time I’ve ever bought a set at release for investment was #41999 because it was limited edition.

    ^41999 has also popped up at brand stores in the past few weeks, but may be gone now.

    Had had bought over 120x #41999 all at £300+ (and one PoTC set at full retail) when I stopped watching. At that rate he will still be selling these Xmas 2020. He will probably have sold all his #41999 before he gets 3x RRP for that #4194 though.
