That's an awesome set. If I wanted to get started on a whole new theme, and had a truckload of money to indulge in it, I'd be all over this. Good luck with your sale! And let me know if you have LL-928 up for sale at any time... :-)

This is tricky... I think on balance I agree with @Lobot, UCS Slave 1. Honourable mentions though: #928, #4483, #75192, and The original movie Ghostbuster sets. I could add to that list all too easily. Assembly Square? Thanks for hosting!

^ True. But it depends on how many are actually in a box. There would have to be 928 in a box to equal that price per part which might be possible but I'd have to count a box again. So it really does come down to time vs quantity desired.

Interesting to see the trans-yellow/trans-neon space canopy on the batmobile. I bet this will spark a new wave of classic space remakes. Personally I'm thinking of#928 already. :) What seems to be trans-clear canopies on that hoverthingy doesn't look bad, either.

Appreciate all of the info people. @sirrich69 pointed out quite a lot of bits yesterday and I think that most of #926 and #928 are present. Ill be attempting to put together these sets and any others I see but if anyone notices anything else, feel free to point them out.

Yesterday I finished my Classic Space remake fleet using a bunch of Bricklink orders that came in over the holiday weekend. Now I've got fully modern versions of the 1978 sets 918, 924, 926, and 928 (two versions of the 918, a single-seater and a two-seater), plus a modern 6894 Blacktron Invader and a modern 6931 FX Star…

I would love to see some of the original vintage Classic Space sets re-released. With original box art, etc. Hasbro has done this with transformers and it's been a really great way to get a mint copy of an old favorite without paying a fortune. I'd vote for #928 or #6980.

I would like to have all instructions of all sets as PDF. And I want to have them all stored on my computer, so I can access them anytime, immediately, even when I am offline. And I am pretty sure that there are more people like me who share the same wish. Maybe someone has already accomplished that goal, but I couldn't…

@jason1976 Thanks! Yes I believe I have already seen that clip, or there might even be more clips where they visit the fault/Lego archive. Great nostalgia! Didn't National Geographic also do a Lego documentary a couple of years ago?! That space monorail #6990 , and that #928 or/and #497 Space Cruiser are so cool, and…
