    @Odindusk, 8258 was on clearance for 50% off last Christmas in the US. Set 8043 on clearance this year wouldn't surprise me...

    You definitely should get the 8043 Motorized Excavator. It looks the best and has Power Functions! Although the price may be a little high, it's definitely worth it.

    Today went well for me. I got two Technic sets, 8043 - Excavator 8110 - Unimog Both for £50. That's one hell of a good price.

    If you are into technic model I recommend the 8043. It looks very impressive as a display model even though the target of TLG were not the AFOL in the first place.
