If anyone saw my "Brag" thread earlier this year where I managed to get 2 X UCS Super Star Destroyers, (#10221), from Smyth's I wish to propose a big trade with a Uk collector. The trade is either :- 1 X BNISB UCS SSD #10221 for 1 X BNISB Sydney Opera House #10234 OR 1 X BNISB UCS SSD #10221 + 1 X BNISB Malevolence #9515…

Just found #10234 Sydney Opera house in store marked at 279.96. The guy in the red shirt says it was an online purchase returned in store last night. Trying decide if if it is worth it with the extra 5% red card savings?

#41999 Technic Crawler BNISB. Box has a few small scratches on the back, but apart from that it's all in good shape. #21021 Architecture Marina Bay Sands BNISB. A few rub marks to front of box which I guess happened in transit. I had to buy more copies than I wanted for more money than I wanted to spend really so am…

Someone commented recently that this year is shaping up to be a great one for AFOLs. That got me thinking, how great have the past 5+ years been for AFOLs, so I looked at the sets from each yet and picked out the ones that I'd want to keep from each year. I'm curious as to other's thoughts, are there any weak years (I…

As many of you know we're leaving the Lego game for a while. As a result, we're looking to sell a vast majority of the stock we have remaining. I am ideally looking for cash on collection (we live in Wakefield) however, I am happy to negotiate. Number Name Quantity 75113 Rey Buildable 7 …

But you can. We know that. But there's a difference between a "Ultimate" and "Ultimate Collector's Series" - and a few other different variants. FWIW, some of the Nexo Knights are labelled "Ultimate". Does anybody want to call them UCS? No. Are #10181 or #10234 Architecture sets? No, but they're architecture.

Uhm... I was planning to get #10234 Sydney Opera House to go along with the BB, but I just noticed that #10214 Tower Bridge is most likely to go out first, so I guess I should start with that one then. The collector is struggling with buying the BB without having the other two :-(

There's 15% off some sets in some countries (Uk, France, Germany...). They're under 'Sales and Deals' at the Lego online store. Some countries like Ireland, Italy, Spain don't seem to be getting this discount which is very disappointing. Was looking forward to a 15% discount off 10234 Sydney Opera House for example.

Alright, so, what the heck is going on with a $2k bid on an Opera House still available in the catalog? http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEGO-Sydney-Opera-House-10234-Sealed-Huge-Set-New-NIB-Rate-HTF-UCS-Collector-/311379241714?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item487fa62af2

Marking the SOH #10234 off my list will reduce the total by almost 15%, but I do love the Architecture sets. I'm expecting the SOH to be gone by the end of the year. The question I have to ask myself is will I regret not getting this set as much as I regret not getting the Taj Mahal set #10189 when I had the opportunity?
