    Both released in 2008, #7739 Coast Guard Patrol and in #7627 Temple of the Crystal Skull would appear to be the last two sets to feature raised baseplates (though I haven't checked non-System sets like Duplo, etc).

    Right now, I'm building a police station out of 60047: Police Station and 4440: Forest Police Station using the baseplate from 7627: Temple of the Crystal Skull. It's turning out pretty dang well! I have three prisons, a radar tower, a garage, a couple of crooks trying to escape, and a police tower! :)

    My most recent car boot sale find is the moulded baseplate from #7627. A woman was using it to display minifigs she was selling, but I've got a fondness for the moulded plates despite their various inadequacies, so I picked it up for a fiver. I like the way you can use them to gain height when building castles and such.
