Being tempted by the recent discount on 9398 on Amazon UK and with the upcoming release of 41999, which does everyone think is the better buy: The IMO better looking, cheaper 9398 or the (supposedly) limited more expensive 41999? :D

Hmm this seems to be a familiar theme in the secondary market these days. Quite interesting. One big buyer of 41999 has just become a picker so head on over to read some fun comments (or sell your 41999's lol).

He was selling a lot of top shelf sets in addition to the 50 41999 sets..

#41999 also has LED headlights and a Winch for the same MSRP as #9398. I want to build one of the models, and I currently have a sealed 9398 that I picked up from Amazon UK. But I'm thinking of selling it and buying #41999 to open and build. I can't decide which model will be better to buy/build/display/sell. Should I fork…

I doubt HH would ever jump in price like 41999. Resellers have these in storage, and there will be a small jump followed by a slow rise on going EOL, like most regular sets. 41999 was limited edition and surrounded by hype. HH wasn't on both counts.

#41999 was also championed specifically as a 'limited edition' set, RI has had no such billing
