Just finished cleaning a small ebay lot that I got affordably (around $5 a lb) and discovered Darth Vader (with helmet, looks like from #8017 ) and Luke Skywalker minifigures. Nothing like underpaying for a bulk lot! -

Seeing Vader's Tie Fighter (system - #8017) in Vegas after just missing the boat on the UCS version, and putting a few sets together for my Nephew, who liked to play with the stuff, but not to build them (old Gunship and other Ep1-3 sets). -

Lego space set 497 (as shown by Yellow Castle) was one of my first. Vaders Tie Fighter (8017?) was what bought me back as an AFOL, and at the time I thought UCS Falcon was just stupid money - wish I could get one for RRP now to build! -
