Glad I waited a few days for the HP sets. I was tempted by the double VIP points, but after someone mentioned the Argos 3 for 2 on here I waited. Even better when Amazon messed up with the double discount yesterday. 5 days after launch #75954 had 37% off, #75955 was 37.7% off, #75952 was 51.5% off and even picked up #70653… -

That's interesting. I wasn't back into Lego when the original HP minifigures came out, but remain pleasantly surprised at the re-sell value of the current figures. I don't buy to re-sell, on the whole, but sell the surplus minifigures off from sets I've bought for myself. At the moment selling off the 10 minifigures… -

Lego designers actually DO know how well their sets sell - they get regular sales updates on the sets they have created. I don't immediately find back the interview, but I think it's every 2 weeks? Pretty sure Samuel Johnson, as a Design Manager, knows what's selling in his portfolio. Internally TLG is not shy about… -
