I was finally able to deliver the Northern California portion of the Brickset/Fairy Bricks donation during the 2013 holidays. It went to Shriners Hospital for Children in Sacramento, CA.

A little late, but I found a #3843 at my local (and when I say local, it's 200 yards from my house) boot sale last Sunday. Got it for £1.50! Just 1 small part missing, that was it! Parts looked pretty
