Just about to start on the #10222 Winter Village Post Office. The box arrived last week and I've been counting the days until I had time to crack it open.

In Nice, France for business Oct 28th and found a great little toy store JoueClub with a large stock of 10222 and 10216. Perfect surprise gift for my lego-loving significant other :-)

Mine are the WV-sets #10229, #10222 and #10219.. Got myself #10235 on a whim on Catawiki (and for a good price); but really still would like to own the others, but not at the ridiculous prices asked now.

So the forum post I mentioned back in Feb seems to have been correct: http://www.bricksetforum.com/discussion/9404/10222-winter-village-post-is-alleged-to-have-been-retired/

I think the most iconic jazz instrument would be a saxophone. Hopefully it'll be a molded version and not what's in #10222. Unless they decide on a B.B King version, that is. I know I could go for a Lego Lucille.

That's it! They're going to re-release #10222 and kill two birds with one stone. You can't deny it would be very special because we'd all be talking about it - although perhaps not quite the way they'd like.

All sealed. Boxes in good condition. Price sticker on box. Pricing (insured shipping to EU and US included) 10199: 170 Euro (229$) 10199+10216+10222: 400 Euro (540$)

Welcome to brickset forum @LegoAndy (if you put @ before someone's name, they get a notification that you mentioned them) This thread probably wants blending into this previous Mr Gold Ebay thread. http://www.bricksetforum.com/discussion/10222/mr-gold-on-ebay/p4

Ok I managed to track down a couple of Shopping Malls. One didn't bear fruit but the second did. Last Hogwarts #4841 for €61 and loads of Lego Winter Post Offices #10222, for €49, so I bought one too. Kaubamaja was the place. :)
