    I built #10186 several years ago and passed it on to a needy kid my son was friends with. I remember it being a big set and a fun build. It is more "Technic" whereas #75112 appears to be more in the "Hero Factory" mold.

    Personally, I really liked the #10186 General Grievous . It got knocked when it was released and lingered for a while on Amazon. I thought it was a fun build due to the unique nature of the set and when I had it displayed in my home office, it got way more attention from friends than any other set.

    I've mulling over the General Grevious construction set #75112 . What keeps me from buying it is that I have a boxed UCS General #10186 . I would really like to hear from one who has both to compare the two and recommend or not if it really is worth buying the newer version despite of owning the UCS?
