I think a decent rule of thumb is if your comment to discussion ratio isn't *at least* 15 to 1, then you are probably starting too many threads. The mods here do the best job I've ever seen of closing or combining pointless or duplicate threads, but it's usually easy to spot a newcomer who can't wait to start a new topic… -
