I have no gaps from 1974. But the only set I bought between January 1989 and June 1990 was #6077 Forestmen's River Fortress, bought the first week of Jan 1989, when the U.S. Army sent me to South Korea. Don't worry, I took it with me, along with a 3-gallon canister (which had contained popcorn) full of LEGO. Once I got…

Hello, After some heavy pondering, I have come to the conclusion that I need to reduce my collection and focus on what I will build and use ongoing. Thus, I am selling my castle collection. I live on the south coast of Hampshire, and would prefer collection by the buyer, I am prepared to post by parcel force within the UK…

My favorites has always been the Forestmen theme. 6066 Camouflaged Outpost and 6077 Forestmen's River Fortress are/were the best in my opinion. For more recent sets, 7036 Dwarves' Mine, I enjoyed (so do my kids) and of course MMV.

Let's see: The best find ever must be Darth Mauls bust 10018 from LS@H (of all places). Bought two for roughly $50 each. Runner-up: The Forestmens River fortress 6077 from Ebay. Complete with box in great condition for $40.

I’m going to be selling all of these castle related sets on eBay. What would be the best way to go about it? Bundle them, bundle only the smaller sets, or sell all individually? Is now a good time to sell? Should I wait until the holidays again? What would you do? My parents purchased all of these for me when I was a child…

When it comes to Lego it needs to be 80s for me. These sets are good: 6277, 6080, 6085, 6066, 6054, 6085, 6077, 6071, 6271, 6285, 6271 If you dont have these, smaller sets from same period might be of interest too. I dont need boxes, but manuals would be nice.

I have some of the old style trees and bushes, gears, and wheels that were in a box of LEGO given to my boys by another family. Otherwise, the only 'rare' items I have are the Castle sets I received for my birthday when they first came to the US #6083 and #6077 (no yellow castle, though).

How about the reverse problem, i.e. "Available August 1st, 19xx"? I bought #6077 Forestmen's River Fortress early January, 1989 on my way to the airport for a flight to South Korea while in the US Army. It had the 1989 catalog which had the Pirate sets... which would not be available until later that year! I brought a…
