At the moment the javascript that turns the likes of #6876 into a hyperlink can do so without much effort, but to add the set name would require a database lookup, for every link on the page and possibly for everyone who viewed it which is obviously impractical. Bricktip is the ideal solution!

So thanks to Huw (and Alice) work I was looking through the old catalogues of my childhood and noticed how different the names are for the different sets. Its a mixed bag, some of the US I prefere (Stardefender 200 for example) but some are really terrible (Monorail Transport System) and some UK names feel more sensible…

First time posting here, I am sure many of you know of bricklink and here is a thread link to the bricklink posting for the pics. http://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=723634 I am unloading a lot to make way for a new move and change in life. Mostly castle, pirates I, police I, blacktron stuff etc. All lego and figures…

Here's something else cool I have implemented but haven't yet worked into the website UI. You will have found the 'view inventory full-screen' links I suspect which results in a page URL like this: http://www.brickset.com/detail/inventory/?set=6876-1 Now, say I had disassembled all the Blacktron 1 sets and I wanted to…

Garage sale find for $15. Scored some classic space sets: #6987 and #6876 with most pieces in the sets still there including the minifigs and building instructions. With it also got some other space sets still need to figure out which ones they are with 15 other space minifigures from the same era. I was just hunting for…

I’m clearing out some of my sets particularly that I have duplicates of and my latest section straddles all the way from the 70s to the 90s. Ideally I’d sell as a group or a couple of groups (Town group and Space/Aquazone group). None of these sets have boxes or extra parts unless specified otherwise - Legoland/Town Group…

^^ I think we can assume that they want this data for ideas for reissuing themes or sets, so I suspect they are anticipating older sets being nominated rather than MMV and so on. They have said many times that Monorail can't be re-released due, I think, to issues with the manufacure of the motor, hence it being explicitly…

Thanks! Yeah, my stance on Classic Space is definitely an unpopular opinion! Not sure why it didn`t resonate with me as a kid. I did have the Alienator set #6876, and loved the whole Black assassin look of the minifigure. I always love seeing your Minecraft work. I should share some of the work that I have done with my…

I was always jealous of my brother's #6876 so I was very satisfied when I picked on up 2 years ago, after my DA ended. But it did go well together with my #6886 from back then, still love that Space Police craft! But my favorite small spacecraft has always been the Vector Detector (#8677) from M-tron. I can still build it…
