    Hello. I was just building set #6276 and found this. I believe it happens when they switch over collor or something . Does this happen a lot or is it that's its an original piece from 1989? Thanks

    My favorite (one I never got as a kid) was #6989 Mega Core Magnetizer. Also love #6941 Battrax, #6276 Eldorado Fortress, #6273 Rock Island Refuge, #6345 Aerial Acrobats...so many good names in the 80’s and 90’s.

    ^^ Interestingly I would have said #6242 Soldiers' Fort is less juniorized than #6276 Eldorado Fortress, although less substantial. In fact apart from the island in #6241 Loot Island the whole range was surprisingly good - perhaps even better than classic pirates! I know heresy.

    When I was 9 or 10 I built a random spaceship for a local toy shop contest just with classic space and space police pieces and won the contest. I won myself the old pirates eldorado fort 6276 and my moc ship was placed in the shops window for about 2 months to the envy of all my friends.

    The Pirates theme was one of my main interests when I first started collecting, so I have most of the sets. 6276 El Dorado Fortress and 6277 Imperial Trading Post are one of my personal favorite sets of all time, let alone among the Pirates theme.
