Finally got round to looking at this: 259 sets of which 221 are different. Piece counts for 214 = 14,470 but as well as the uncounted sets I know I have at least 500 unsorted parts from the 70s/80s Minifigures 233 (but this does not seem to count Nexo Knights cover mounts and I have a few random people as well).

I've always wondered why the Imperial Shuttle retail was $259, seems like a high price. Looking at the price per piece of the IS compared to to any modulars, IS at 2500 pieces for $259 vs any Modular with ~2200 pieces for $149. This puts the IS at $0.10 per piece and a modular comes in at $0.07. I understand the Shuttle is…

My boss just asked me to get LEGO sets for an upcoming department meeting as 'participation presents' for my co-workers. With a budget of $10 per person (26 people), I showed her the sets available and volunteered to buy them myself as "I always go to the LEGO store every weekend"... that's 259 points for me PLUS a free…

woah so ... after re reading this thread again..I got inspired. Previously ( in my last post) only around 3 other people knew about my lego obsession... But now over 545 people on my facebook and all 259 followers I have on tumblr know... It was kind of hard being a 16 year old still liking legos...but hey its what I love…

You can download a .csv file with the 36,000 or so parts on bricklink and their weights, and the inventory of the DS-II. A quick sum gives a total weight of parts of 4,348.96g including spare parts and the sticker sheet (1.3g). There are a couple of parts where inventory is not clear (eg whether the two 6x6 radar dishes…

Hi, having recently moved house I committed to trimming some of the LEGO we had stored in the loft and this is the start of that, focusing on new sealed sets (with just a couple of exceptions noted against the set). There is quite a list - 259 sets - across a wide variety of themes, some of which are long gone now, eg…

I agree, this set was put into the wrong box. It is a rare case of an actually full box, and the box itself is way, way too thin. This set comes with 4 instruction manuals, but it deserves the DS and SSD manual treatment, a single spiral bound manual, with the parts in 3 white boxes, like the SSD is. It also deserves the…

For what it's worth, I calculate I've opened 64 packs so far to get 259 cards as I had a couple of packs with extras - I have 119/140 towards set 1 and 86/140 towards set 2. Recounted the pile and there's 40 still to open (Monday evening sorted!). Due to having been travelling they've been spread around from Newcastle to…

Hmmm ... I was looking at 'sold' listings on eBay, but it seems Brinklink has a better price on the AT-AT? And maybe even a little bit better on the Grand Emporium. I think I'll post these as a Buy it Now on eBay tonight. That way, I can end it if anyone here becomes interested, but I'll still get the eyeballs from my four…
