There have been many UCS sets released over the years and they are generally expensive. The vast majority of the UCS sets are from the Star Wars theme. I generally pick up one from time to time, but have only had time to build one to date...the Imperial Shuttle #10212. There are two that I have not yet purchased that are…

^ Or it will be more like 10186 General Grievous. You can still buy it new sealed for under MSRP.

Some dingbat tried to open the box of my #10186 that way, so that box is pretty messed up, but I can’t complain too much since I got it for $30 at a thrift store :)

Speaking of the B-Wing #10227, I've always looked at that one like the General Grievous #10186. For the longest time, they had #10186 marked down to half-price on
[email protected] Apparently they couldn't give it away. Now it's going for roughly $150 and slowly climbing. I expect the same sort of trajectory for the B-Wing...slow but…

I've got Obiwan's Starfighter build as well, not as good as 10186, but that is just my opinion... I really would love R2-D2 in the scale of 10186, he would look really good 2 feet high in Technic. My 6 year old son who loves R2 (his buddy he says) asked me for a "real" R2-D2 for Christmas, as in one that is full size,…

Hi, I'm selling off the bulk of my collection, due to space/waning interest/need of the money. These are all sets that I have built once, maybe twice and then gone back into storage. They are all complete (unless stated otherwise), apart from maybe some smaller easily replaceable pieces that might have gone missing when…

@BrickDancer I can't imagine any reason why this could possibly be impossible. @mathew Funny you should say that. I bought #10186 specifically for the parts. Of course I built the model, and it was fun. Then I took it apart.

Bust may be too narrow of a term, since Yoda was a whole figure. And if that counts, then R2-D2 was the last one. 2001: Darth Maul #10018 2002: Yoda #7194 2008: Grievous #10186 2012: R2-D2 #10225

Don't get me wrong, I like Home One, but I also liked 10186 - General Grievous and that hasn't budged in price one bit, so what is expensive and what I like don't always match. :)
