I sold my 10197 for 225 plus a hefty shipping charge... made way more than 25$ Oh course my copy did not cost 150$ plus tax. 80$ is a lot better than 25$ :), but hey who's counting right? 41999 is slowly climbing back to 400$ it will be there this Christmas or sooner. Just my 2 cents

I apologize in advance for not talking about 41999,but I am just curious what people think of the WMT clearance on Weathertop ($40) and Unexpected Gathering($49). I don't have a love for either set. If I had to, I could incorporate them into a larger castle theme at some point in the future if they don't do well in…

I am nothing but smiles right now, just received my other #41999 and just netted 185 with the one I sold. I know that this set will make more down the road, but there's nothing bad about flipping quick for a nice infusion of investment capital. Today's set is my set I put in a closet and forget about.

Thanks for the clarification. I guess you can technically be correct, but that's an awful lot of wheeling and dealing to get to that ROI! With 41999, you just needed to buy one and sell it :) Just curious, what's the rebate you referenced? Was it a one-time thing or is this something that people can take advantage of on…

I don't mind a bit of euphoria. haha All the signs point to this set being a winner. Most of us are resellers on this thread so, I would say if you got a few sets congrats and enjoy the profits. I really feel like #41999 will hit $500 at christmas, so you bet I am pumped about it.

Who knows where #41999 will end up, but some technic sets do ok. Look at #8275 Motorized Bulldozer US retail was $150, I sold a sealed one for $450 earlier in the year. Sure it's been retired for 5 years (i got mine only last year for $120) but still its 3x your money.

Am selling mostly SW and HP (usual suspect, DDS, Death Star, Diagon, IS, 41999, FB, GE, PS, TH, etc etc). Some creator sets too. The basics. Was seeing a nice action (especially from overseas) in the fall in the $200-$500 range, but haven't seen much action at all for xmas. Even bundled sets are sitting.

@CoraHarrison Dunno if this is any good to you, but your best bet is to ring your local Lego store, and ask if they have #41999 in stock, or if they're getting more in. But I've been hearing that the UK Lego stores are starting to run out too. Stratford might have one left, or so I heard, but save yourself a wasted trip…

21103 is now on Amazon and still in stock despite multiple deal threads alerting the previous minecraft hoarders.....looks like TLG learned from the minecraft fiasco and produced a boatload of these. 41999 looks like a good seller but way more than 20k are being sold so no doubt multiple runs will be made (wonder if they…

#41999 is extremely disappointing to me. TLG could have chosen from a number of models for their limited edition set, yet they chose to do a crumby RC truck when there is already a practically identical one available. Two thumbs down to TLG for this one. If it wasn't for the low price and large amount of resellers I would…
