That's correct. @Bluemoose revealed that TLG had in fact shrink wrapped all of their archived sets for long term storage. I'm not sure of the timescale, but perhaps years later they found that the shrink wrap had continued to 'shrink' over time and ironically crushed the boxes they were protecting.

@Bluemoose / @Atkinsar - I'll definitely be there with a big stack of Brick City books and a sharpie for anyone that would like them graffiti'd....err... signed :) (There aren't any public materials for book 2 yet, but I do have most of the imagery on my laptop if anyone wants to see.)

@bluemoose- Well, if you do look at the back of the Lego Visual dictionary, they do have 3 different figures in a red prototype mold. The full figure. I don't know why those would be a full figure either.. but it makes me more of a believer in the whole Vader figure.

@Rocao - You are right! My user name on the forum is Wagnerml2 and my brickset username is Wagnerml! I'll need to remedy that. Here is the link to my collection if you are still curious. http://www.brickset.com/search/?OwnedBy=wagnerml I think Huw or bluemoose should be able to fix that for you.

Thanks bluemoose. Good point but this is definitely fading on these bricks. The other side of the top and bottom bricks are the same color as the middle. When I took the ship apart (it was in pieces already) I noticed how only one direction was showing fading. That side must have had exposure to light.

@bluemoose.....ta, I will have to change my build order now too.....just happen to know the Death Star is landing on Xmas day. That and maybe the Imperial Shuttle (selling my golf gear is sponsoring this I might add). Anyhow, currently building the Pet Shop to complete my run of buildings!!

For us, the answer is GORM. It's expandable and fairly inexpensive shelfing from Ikea. :o) Nice shelving, so that's you and @bluemoose who both use GORM. I'll check it out when I move house. So do you have an entire LEGO room (or even rooms!), is it a garage or a room in the house?

@thor860 Yeah, not happy with your feedback. This isn't just a fraud issue, it's about how TLG represents itself to the community. The lack of information from TLG is disconcerting. @bluemoose No one in the community is happy about these scams. Perhaps we can get more info on what is being done by TLG through the…
